Your teacher will provide you with the ID term for your class:

Contextualization: provide context for the ID term given.

Thesis: when an ID term is given, answer the question “why is this term historically significant?” When it is not a term it will be a question. If it is a question, provide a thesis that answers all parts of the question.

Evidence and argumentation: students will be expected to provide a relevant piece of evidence and explain how the evidence supports the stated thesis.
