2nd Semester Extra Credit Opportunities

You can earn up to 50 points extra credit each semester.  Your points will be added to Aeries in the "Extra Credit" assignment with the name/type of your assignment in the Comments section. 

All Extra Credit must be complete by Fri., Dec. 13th for the 1st semester and Fri. May 30th for the 2nd semester, the week before finals.

You will earn points for the following assignments (if you did not do them in the 1st Semester Challenge:
5 points  Recite the Pledge of Allegiance to Mrs. Powers
5 points  Sing the National Anthem to Mrs. Powers

2nd Semester Challenge:
*If you did not do the 1st Semester Challenges, you can do those also for the 2nd Semester. 
5 points    Sing My Country Tis of Thee
5 points    Preamble to Constitution
10 points  List 20th & 21st Century Presidents

10 points  Attend a concert, art show, film, performance, or play of historical and/or American social/cultural significance.  Must show me ticket or evidence of attendance and complete the information template. 

*I suggest you get pre-approval from me to insure your extra credit will count.  Pre-approved list below. 

Also, you can do the extra credit essay, What the American Dream Means to Me,and points would go into the assessment portion of your grade as a 20/0 depending on essay quality and adherence to prompt.
