I am thinking about all of you during this uncertain time in all of our lives. I know that each one of you is facing unique circumstances and realities at home. Please feel free to email me any time you have a question or concern as we transition to online learning on Wednesday, March 18th.
As your Writing Strategies teacher, I am available for writing assistance and tutoring during the school closure. I will host a weekly virtual Writing Strategies meeting via Google Hangouts each Monday from 10am-11am. Attendance during these virtual meetings are optional, but recommended. I will send access codes via e-mail and Remind.com weekly.
I am also available to review your writing assignments via e-mail or for individual virtual tutoring sessions via Google Hangouts. Please email me with specific requests.

First Assignment for Writing Strategies (due Friday, 3/20)
Your first weekly assignment for credit in Writing Strategies is to email me at email@example.com with the following information:
-An update about how you are doing
-Your upcoming English assignments for the week (once they are assigned) and your plan to complete them
-Any area or assignments you request help in for the week
-Moving forward, for credit in Writing Strategies each week, I will expect two emails checking in with me at different times each week. When you send these check-in e-mails is up to you, but consider sending one email at the beginning and end of each week. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org and I will be checking and responding to messages regularly.
